A few of the hazards to be avoided at our flying field. There are only a few isolated trees near the airfield, but . . . . . . That is Dan up a fir tree with Grant Darnley looking on. Trees, moles, moss and the green pond.
Something else to look out for - full-size flying visitors - we do occasionally have some aerial visitors, after all, the north of Scotland is a low flying zone. That is a Buccaneer, probably from Lossiemouth. Buccaneers, Tornados, Ospreys, Hercules, etc.
Visiting aeromodel flyers. The Highlands have attracted numerous new Europeans seeking employment at our relatively high wages. Inga (on the left) and Rasa are from Siauliai in Lithuania. Inga works a a local hotel whilst Rasa and her husband live with their little boy in Inverness, where her husband works as a Ford mechanic. They frequently join us for Sunday flying. 16th Sept 2006 From other parts of Scotland and from other European countries.
