How to find the flying field
Approaching Aviemore from the South, turn right at the new roundabout at La Taverna Restaurant onto the B970 ("ski road") signposted for Cairngorm Mountain. Cross the River Spey, carry on through Inverdruie and keep going past the Coylumbridge Hilton Hotel (on your left).
At Coylumbridge take the left turn opposite the campsite, signposted to Boat of Garten. Follow this small road north for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to the club airfield is on the left, immediately after the end of the woods. There is a metal 5-bar gate set back from the road which YOU SHOULD CLOSE as you leave the site. Go along the track and take the right fork to the car park.
Entering Aviemore from the north, you need to go almost right through the village until you reach the new roundabout at La Taverna Restaurant. Turn left onto the B970 ski road and follow the instructions above.
